Bereavement Leave
Full time employees are provided up to twenty-four (24) hours of leave to be absent from work during each calendar year, due to the death of a member of their immediate family. The immediate family for the purpose of this leave is defined as: parent, spouse, child, sibling, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchild and grandparents. These hours do not have to be taken consecutively. This leave will not be cumulative from one year to the next year. Bereavement Leave, Sick Leave, and Disability Leave are not paid out upon separation.
